Okay, time for a new contest!
We looked over all the suggestions made in the recent awards and decided...to ignore them and come up with something else.
Nah, I'm sure we'll get to those suggestions at some point but we'd already had a contest worked out before those results came in. So we'll get that one done first.
The goal of this contest is to reimagine a character or characters as characters in a spy world. Secret organisations, hidden gadgets, information trading and acquiring etc etc. It's up to you how you want to reimagine the characters. The spy world is full of double agents and secret agendas so things aren't going to be very black and white. Don't feel like you have to stick to good guys and bad guys. Everyone can have their own mission. Think of stuff like James Bond, Mission Impossible and Chuck and that's the kind of thing we're going for.
To give an example of what we mean...my idea involves Thomas Conroy being the head of a secret organisation called O.W.L, which has a bunch of operatives who all have secret civilan identities. The operatives have the codenames Nightbird, Hunter, Chanceless and Knight. When a situation arises that requires O.W.L's attention...he sends his liason Alphonse, codenamed The Butler, to debrief the operatives. (I'll upload a picture when I'm done with this journal to give a better idea)
Feel free to use real organisations if you wish. The CIA, NSA, KGB etc etc.
Also keep in mind, no superpowers. This is about spies and operatives waging a cold war.
Apart from that, go nuts.
DEADLINE: September 30
