My Date with Blue Thunder's Daughter Part 5
“I don’t like it Thomas,” Blue Thunder stood with her arms folded and hood down, frowning.
“The Owlmobile has never gone completely dark before… and I can’t reach it. That leaves… very few options about what exactly happened,” Thomas cupped his chin with a hand. He turned to Impakt who was tapping her foot impatiently. “You said there they went through a ring?”
“T-hoop,” Impakt replied. “Short for Teleportation hoop. Only one person I know has them—or rather, /did/. Apparently she’s shared her technology. I wasn’t able to find her to comment, s

Mehkat kept close to Liss, looking about nervously. Liss wouldn’t say it, but she found her companion’s deviation from the usual smug confidence rather refreshing. Mehkat drew a deep breath and asked in a low, thickly accented voice, “You… not tell?—About…” Mehkat gestured. “I mean…”

Battle for the Cowl: Chapter 7
Wake up, Tim. It was the cold, dont-shit-with-me tone that struck terror into the heart of every man in Gothams underworld. Its speaker had taken on four successful protégés, gathered together a league of alliances, and conjured worst-case scenario war games. He was a man of brilliance in every area. And now he was talking to him.
Nightbird would have given anything to hear the man say his name. Just to be acknowledged by the Dark Knight would have been a dream come true. But never in his life would he have dreamed that when Batman spoke to him, it would be with the tone he reserved for lowlife wannabe vigi

Voltaic Viscountess paced back and forth in Mastermind 5's lab furiously. If one squinted, the little stormy cloud shooting off lightning was almost visible. Five was patiently repairing one of the computer terminals that had been damaged in the latest incident with Voltaic Viscereine. It had been a simple plan really. The notorious villain would have to retrieve her ring if she wished to remain in the greatest threat to T.A.T.A.S.the villains organization C.O.R.S.E.T.
"Can't you go any faster?! She's getting away!" Viscountess said irri

A good friend will bail you out of jail...
Tim sat across from Alexis and Kon. The cell was pretty small and it smelled like urine. But, that didn't kill Kon and Tim's good moods.
~flashback~
"This okay?" Alexis asked, glancing around and making sure that no one saw them.
"Trust me, it's fine," Kon said, patting her on the back.
"Okay. We're in. Kon, you and Alexis take the bedroom. I got the living room," Tim said, shoo-ing the two over to the bedroom. Alexis turned to Kon who shrugged and squatted down so Alexis could get on his shoulders. Then the two flipped over the furniture, put glue on the legs and began pushing them against the

Everybody Have Fun Tonight Part 1
“Hey baby… just calling to say hi. Haven’t seen you around and I’m getting worried. Why don’t you call me and we can do dinner?—I /really/ miss you.” Mehkat chewed her lip apprehensively as she listened to the message on her comm link again.
She swiftly shut it off and tossed it aside. There were times she hated standing still—this was one of them. Standing, she began to pace in front of the large stone fireplace. Velocity and Legacy were out for the evening doing Sol knew what—and in all honestly, she didn’t want to know—that way if Nightbird or another hero showed up she co

<<Quandary I. Will. kill you. I will actually set you on fire. I will fucking bury you where is it?!>> Harley snarled as she lay on her font to look under the sofa. Q had borrowed her modulation pack for, and I quote, “A thing, but it’s gonna be wicked, trust me”. Whatever he had borrowed it for, he was apparently finished with, but when she had gone to retrieve it he had, a bit sheepishly, admitted that he’d lost it. After some choice words he’d assured her it was in the hideout, he was sure of it, he hadn’t taken it out. By God though, if Harley didn’t find the pack before tomorrow, she

It was a typical day in Deerville, Virginia. The sun was shining, birds were chirping, Safari was on the roof, trying to befriend a small lizard she stumbled upon. Eyes locked and tongues fwipping in synch, Safari could feel a real connection with the small reptile,
“We’re on the same wavelength, aren’t we little buddy?” It was then that she heard a bellow coming from the front door.
“Safari! It’s one of your weird friends!” called Starburst from below.
“Which one?”
“The one I sort of like.” Safari floated down from the roof, wond

When the Cat's Away Part 2
"Twas the night before Christmas and all through the Hub… three hunchies were stirring, planning to cause a bit of bub. The crown jewels were sitting in the museum with care—and Hub’s watchful guardian knew they’d soon be there. While many were nestled, snug in their beds, the Answer was waiting to mess with three henchies heads.”

“My little pony, my little pony…” The well known theme song trilled across the speakers in surround sound in the Answer’s HQ. He leaned back in his chair and frowned as information streamed in about three persons who had just exited the train from

Well, that was awful. Our first real outing went as planned, up until the arrival of a pair of well-equipped vigilantes just as we were leaving the art gallery. I've already analyzed what I did wrong: one, some sort of levitating satchel, possibly coccoon-themed, would have lightened our load and expedited our escape, thereby avoiding the "heroes" by several minutes. Two, incorporating gas masks into our costumes will help us to avoid being knocked unconscious before we even catch a glimpse of who we're up against. It was pure dumb luck that Nightflight managed to avoid capture, and I must say, he's done a truly fantastic
Modifications complete! The whole project turned out amazingly, if i do say so myself. The proboscides are realistically narrow, and i've even worked in retractable mouthplates so as not to muffle our chilling threats of terror. Tomorrow, we shall carry out a Halloween-themed crime spree of some sort, hopefully with the help of a few other villains. I mean, what's the point of becoming a supervillain if you can't have fun with it once in a while?
Oh, and i'm not sure what exactly i'm dealing with here, but some anonymous force has been disrupting the Coccoon's signals. I finally headed for the roof to check the dish, and discovered the appa

Our little project has gone off wihout any significant issues. Only Velocity met at the agreed location- a valuable ally, to be sure, but also indicative of how much work i have to do to gain a reputation around here-, but between the four of us, we made short work of the security at our local candy factory. I had selected it, not only for the thematic aspect of stealing/contaminating candy on Halloween, but also to put a dent in the finances of that heartless, pollution-spewing, downright ugly monstrosity that, frankly, can't make a decent lolly to save their pathetic lives. Hopefully they got the message, especially since

Your Best Friend will always help you…
Nightbird scowled at the screen in front of him, typing up the last few lines of his report. The entire day, The Owl, Knight, Hunter, Chanceless, and Sparrow had been avoiding him. Even Alphonse had avoided him during his entire warm up, not even for tea and cookies…
He wants his damn cookies.
Letting out a sigh, Nightbird saved the report and sent it off to the main frame for The Owl to read it over. Dragging himself over to the showers, he decided to spoil himself and take a long, hot shower for once.
Returning to his apartment, Tim stops at the sound of whispers in the room. Putting his

Field test complete! We have successfully trounced an up-and-comer who dared to step on my toes.
On the way home, we spotted a mothlike silhouette and decided to suit up and follow it. Turns out some putz a few towns over had the stupid audacity to take up hero work with a moth suit! At least I assume he was a hero. Perhaps I interrupted a villain. Either way, his shoddy outfit and subpar skills were easily dealt with by my minions alone, and rather handily too. I doubt he'll be taking flight anytime soon. Mothmaster, indeed. I'm surprised he hadn't beaten himself into submission on a streetlight before I even arrived.
