Enigmatic Year

A prize for Kimagetsu from a recent contest. I'd go look up which one in particular but eh. I'll just trust he really did win something.

Anyways, he wanted a yearbook page done like the one I did for Awesome Woman. Took awhile to get some ideas for the panels but once I started slotting characters in here and there it got a bit easier. I knew I wanted to have a group shot of Amara, Renegade, Pheonix, Glacier and Quandary so I did that first. Then I thought I'd throw in Safari since they are wingmen. I probably could've used any character really but I wanted to try and keep it Quandary-centric so I thought I'd put Aquarius in there, with Vice looking on disapprovingly. It's like an 80s version of that sketch I did not long ago. Then I thought I'd put Question and Aire in there since they are more related to Quandary than any other character I could've used. I figure they go to some posh private school but get together with Q later on for shenanigans. Maybe they're his cousins or something. I dunno.

Since some people like to look at what I've put in backgrounds () I should probably say who's in the cafeteria. From left to right we have Impakt, Solar Wind, Green Strike, Awesome Woman, Question and Agate. Agate is a little pissed off that Safari hangs out with that slacker.

A real name for Quandary hasn't been given so I just made one up. Quando is a latin word. I think it means 'when'. I also think it's the word that quandary was derived from.
